All Movie posters were usually sourced from the USA,
Great Britain,and Australia

Posters came usually in one sheet 27x41

11x14 lobby cards,8x10 photos and some times 3 sheet and 6 sheet.

In the seventies and the eighties films did not get the big release patterns that they get these days .so some releases

could only be 10 screens or big releases 20 prints

so it was some times many months before these films reached the small towns and of course posters were hard to come buy
posters were put in film tins and sent on to other cinemas
so by the time the film had run its course the poster was looking the worst for wear

New Zealand made movies had very small releases and posters very hard to find with some of the early titles.

the very early Peter Jacson titles are hard to find as these movies were not huge box office hits.

New Zealand censorship was mostly added to posters and this some times was not done very well with stamps sticker being placed in all places some times even blocking out scenes that had to be censored.

Some of the censorship could be spectacular with content may disturb or warning being some times bigger than the name of the film being shown.
